Seeds of hope is located at Holy Trinity Church, in the centre of downtown Toronto, behind the Eaton's Centre. It is a fitting venue for the work that we do at Seeds of Hope. Built in 1847, it was the first church in Toronto with free pews, so that poor families could make it their spiritual home.
Holy Trinity Church is our head office, but it is also where we also offer a number of regularly scheduled welcoming outreach programs out of the main building. The Trinity Hub provides nourishing hot meals and access to a clothing bank, but it is also a space of meeting and learning about needs that we can help address, working with our extensive network of referrals, enabling us to help people find sustainable solutions for their lives. The programs are volunteer run and offer opportunities for members of our community to participate in a collaborative way that allows for training opportunities and connection with others. Our outreach programs also extend in areas of the city and parks that need this assistance, offering us the opportunity for us to check in with individuals, see how they are doing and if they have any unmet needs that we can support them with.
Community meals are Tuesdays, & Wednesdays 12-1:30 pm and Saturdays 2-4 pm.
